Fantastic food!!!!!! The collard greens were cooked perfect- flavorful, tender but not overcooked. Curried goat was delicious over red beans and rice and the side wing was falling apart tender. The Owner is very helpful asked me questions so I had a great experience. He helped avoid spicy food for me since I don't handle it. I snitched some from husbands tho and the jerk chicken is great but I could only handle one bite as it is spicy to me. the Oxtail he had was AMAZING.portion were great had leftovers for midnight fyi open Tuesday thru Saturday.

M&M's did not disappoint. We had the pork chops, collard greens and mac&cheese, and all were terrific. Portions and price were also unmatched. We were even given a sample of the goat and oxtail, which were delicious. Well worth the stop on our way home to Florida.

We stopped on our drive from Virginia to Florida. We were looking for good fried chicken and weren't disappointed. Also excellent collard greens and yellow rice. Best of all was the fried pork chop the owner brought out for us to try. Wow! Best pork chop I've ever had! Large servings, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

We spent a week at Wyndham Lake Marion in Santee, SC. After passing M&M Country Eatery a time or two, we noticed the Open sign was on and decided to give it a try. EXCELLENT! Everything was legit authentic soul food. Very good! The man running things was very polite and cordial, too. Cash Only

This is a small little place, not much on looks but big on flavorful food. It's off the beaten track and the only way we know about it was Google maps when we were looking for real southern cooking on our way to Charleston. The previous reviews were enough to go look for it and not be turned off by it's plainness. The owner/ cook doesn't have a set menu, just a chalk board and I imagine they do a lot of takeout. The portions were large and we really enjoyed eating here and talking to the owner

If the open sign is on, stop in and check this place out! The menu changes daily. They have good down-to-earth food at good prices with large portions. They don't pretend to be something that they're not. All of the food that I tried was melt off the bone delicious. The oxtail had a rich robust flavor. The Jerk Chicken had a subtle spice that sneaks up on you. The collard greens were nicely seasoned and tender (not cooked to mush).
